WITH WHOM? A few years ago, we met Isabelle TROMBERT, founder of the outstanding massage school Ahimsa, le Toucher and the registered brand Ahimsa, le Spa. We decided that we needed to do something together. Under Isabelle TROMBERT's invaluable instruction, we created this new spa area.
WHAT?
We furnished two Kotas with Nordic flair and created a traditional Nordic bath heated using a wood fire. The wooden tub made of Nordic pine takes 2 hours to fill with our clear mountain water and another 3 hours to heat with larch firewood. We chose this method of heating (although admittedly it’s a little labour-intensive!) because it adds a natural and environmentally friendly touch to the place of relaxation.
WHERE?
At the heart of our 3-star *** all-year camping site and spa L'Iscle de Prelles, close to Briançon in the Département Hautes-Alpes, we wanted to offer a premium service matching the growing demand among our clients. After exertion, you need relaxation. After an exciting week full of adventure, a moment of calm in a spot fully given over to water, care and massage is just the ticket. Enveloped in the heat of a traditional Nordic bath, you can immerse yourself entirely in relaxation and well-being. Let your mind drift and your eyes wander across the peaks of the Écrins. In summer and winter alike, Montbrison looks down upon us from its 2,818 metres.
