In the Hautes Alpes in general, and in the valleys of Serre Chevalier Briançon and the Pays des Ecrins in particular, temperatures in summer can rise very high, so a large, beautiful heated swimming pool is not an option when camping!

Yes, you are right to look for a campsite with a heated swimming pool, and in our family campsite you are in the right place. Because as well as being heated, it’s covered… Most of the time, of course, the pool is uncovered in the morning to take advantage of the sun’s natural warmth. But if it’s a cooler morning or a rainy afternoon, the pool enclosure is just the thing.
The swimming pool is heated to 29°C. You will enjoy the 20m long and 8m wide pool for wading, swimming, playing or simply relaxing. The swimming pool is open from mid-May to mid-September. So you can enjoy it a large part of the year. If you are planning to stay in May, please call us to check the exact opening date.
For the little ones, the pool does not have a secure paddling pool from which they cannot escape. However, the pool is 35cm deep at the ladder level, so they can have fun in the water safely, always under good supervision.

In music and rhythm, during the summer period, you will participate in the weekly aquagym session.
We will be waiting for you in large numbers, for a tonic awakening, in joy and good humour, because the most important thing is to have fun…
An equipped beach
Because a swimming pool is not necessarily only for swimming, the beach, which goes all around, is equipped with comfortable deckchairs to read the exciting novel of the moment, to finish a crossword puzzle or a stubborn sudoku, to prepare the more or less sporty hike of the next day, to catch up on your social networks, or simply to take a nap and to lounge around without moderation.
On your way back from a hike in Serre Chevalier, after a hard game of pétanque or a wild game of mini-golf, or while the children are discovering all the activities on the campsite with their new friends, there’s nothing like the swimming pool for some time to yourself…
Slightly elevated, the swimming pool of the Iscle de Prelles campsite is bathed in sunshine all day long and offers a 360° view of the surrounding peaks.
