The 3 star campsite of l’Iscle de Prelles, with a large heated swimming pool of 20 x 8m, is a family campsite par excellence.
We welcome you in a warm and friendly atmosphere, in an exceptional wooded setting, on the banks of the Durance and with a 360° view of the mountains of our valleys. If you are just passing through, be prepared to stay for a few days!

The Hautes Alpes and specifically the valleys of the Pays des Ecrins and Serre Chevalier Briançon are magnificent in all seasons.
In summer as well as in winter, a multitude of activities are offered to you. So it is only natural that we are open all year round… We welcome you from Christmas to the end of September for Détent’Tonique stays…

Who are we?
Karine and Olivier, with our two children, welcome you to our human-sized campsite.
We have always imagined that we would make a living from tourism: making holidaymakers happy while living in the open air and working every day in an incredible range of jobs that are as varied as they are exciting, both intellectual and manual.
In 2021, we took over the 3-star Iscle de Prelles campsite, in an idyllic setting 5 minutes from Briançon and the Serre Chevalier cable car.
FAQ - Camping in Briançon
Where is the Iscle de Prelles campsite located?
The campsite is located 5 minutes from Briançon in the Hautes Alpes.
You have direct access to the valleys of the Pays des Ecrins, the Serre Chevalier valley, the Clarée valley, but also the Fonts de Cervières valley and the Etroite valley. Pure bliss in both summer and winter.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are allowed, including dogs and cats. You must declare them when you make your booking. They must be kept on a lead at all times and have up-to-date vaccinations. We allow a maximum of two dogs or cats per pitch.
What are your opening dates? Are you open in winter and summer?
We are open from 19 December 2025 to 27 September 2026.
Yes, the winter caravan park is open in winter so you can enjoy the alpine and nordic ski areas of Serre Chevalier, Puy Saint Vincent, Pelvoux, Névache and Cervières.
Yes, the campsite is open in summer so you can explore the valleys of Serre Chevalier Briançon, Pays des Ecrins and La Clarée.
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes, there is a swimming pool open from mid-May to mid-September. A large 20m x 8m pool with a beach area equipped with sun loungers. For added comfort, the pool is heated. And so you can swim in all weathers, the pool is covered…
Is there a snack bar?
Yes, there is a snack bar, open in July and August. At teatime, we serve ice cream and pancakes. At dinner, you can enjoy a simple menu of burgers, pizzas and salads. Everything is 100% homemade and made mainly with local, fresh produce.
Is there a kids' club?
Yes, there is a kids’ club during the summer school holidays. Activities and educational games based on a weekly theme such as nature, wildlife, flora, water or science.
For teenagers, there is a teen campfire.
Are there bare pitches and rental accommodation?
Yes, there are pitches and rental accommodation.
You can camp on one of our 48 pitches for tents, caravans, vans and motorhomes. Or you can settle down in one of 40 mobile homes, chalets or unusual accommodation options.
Are there any activities at the campsite?
Yes, there are activities for all tastes. Young and old alike can enjoy the heated swimming pool, mini golf, pétanque courts, playground with table tennis tables and a trampoline, ball court with home ball, library, games library, table football… And of course the snack bar and communal barbecue area…
What services does the campsite offer?

Throughout the year, you will have access to Wi-Fi throughout the campsite, laundry facilities, sanitary facilities, grocery store, charging stations and recycling bins.
During the summer season, we offer everything you need for your meals, from breakfast with fresh bread and pastries to dinner with fresh, local produce, as well as afternoon snacks with ice cream and homemade pancakes…
