Services adapted to roaming
Are you on the RGA (Route des Grandes Alpes)? Are you crossing the GR5? Are you climbing the summits? It is natural that you have not packed all the necessary equipment for your comfort in your rucksack, on your luggage rack or in your panniers.
So, when you arrive exhausted from an extraordinary but exhausting day, we’ll be there to make sure that you spend the end of the day in comfort, to recharge your batteries before hitting the road the next day…
An example? Tables and chairs to have an aperitif and eat comfortably…
The aperitif? All day long you have been dreaming of a good beer or a fresh fruit juice? Whatever the season, we’ll find you a cool drink, maybe even with peanuts or crisps.
And in the summer, our snack bar will offer you a complete menu of drinks and food to quench your thirst and taste the local products…
With 300 days of sunshine a year, there is no doubt that the weather will be fine… but if the conditions are bad, you will be able to take shelter, prepare dinner and eat under a tent… I will even say more, if you are already wet, you will be able to dry your clothes and your equipment in a space put at your disposal.
I don’t even dare to mention the large swimming pool, which will allow you to relax in water heated to 29° or to prepare the next day’s stage on a sun-drenched deckchair with a 360° view on the mountains. Petanque, ping-pong, volleyball… for all the activities of the campsite, we will lend you the necessary equipment. Fresh bread, washing machine… you will of course benefit from all the services of the campsite.
On foot, by bike or by motorbike, the 3-star Iscle de Prelles campsite is the place for you!
Our territory, particularly rich in landscapes, is conducive to numerous sporting exploits and discoveries of all kinds. Our valleys are crossed by the “Route des Grandes Alpes” and the GR5, and are also full of paths and tracks with varying degrees of difficulty for those who love long mountain journeys.
We will be happy to welcome you in our family campsite for a stopover… And if you are only one or two days away, we will also be delighted to share with you some itineraries which are worth the diversions… For example, the Granon pass in the Serre Chevalier valley, the Pré de Madame Carle in the Pays des Ecrins, or Névache in the Clarée valley, which are not on the official routes, are to be discovered absolutely as much by bike as by motorbike or on foot…

Services adapted to themed holidays
Are you a fan or a more or less enlightened amateur of a specific activity? Are you going to devote your stay in Serre Chevalier Vallée Briançon or the Pays des Ecrins to your passion? The Iscle de Prelles campsite, at the crossroads of these two areas and in the heart of the 5 Valleys that surround us, is undoubtedly, geographically, the ideal place to establish your base camp.
Climbing enthusiasts? Briançon is undoubtedly a reference in this field! Highlighted every year during the Mondial d’Escalade, our territory and this discipline are now inseparable. If you want to climb all the routes, from the simplest to the most difficult, we can provide you with the Topo Briançon Climbs which lists more than 3100 routes to discover around the campsite…
White water fishermen? The Durance is classified as a 1st category river on the part that runs alongside the campsite as well as upstream and downstream. To satisfy your passion for fishing, you can also try your hand at the Guisane and the Clarée.
Kayakers and white water sports enthusiasts? Our rivers are well known for kayaking. L’Argentière la Bessée regularly hosts, in its slalom stadium, French championships, European championships, and even, in 2021, the World Rafting Championship!
As for winter sports, there is no shortage of ski resorts for a ski holiday! Serre Chevalier in particular, 5 minutes from the campsite, is accessible via a free shuttle bus that we put at your disposal…
