The teenagers’ campfire…
At the Iscle de Prelles campsite, the family camping spirit is also for teenagers… So that they can get to know each other in an atmosphere that puts them at ease, every Sunday evening they build a campfire…

What’s the campfire?
On the banks of the Durance, 50m from the campsite, the teenagers will set up a basic fire and roast marshmallows while playing games. A few logs to sit in a circle, a brazier in the middle to light the fire, the scene is set…
A few games while the embers appear… And then it’s time to toast marshmallows, to the delight of the youngest teenagers, but also the older ones who, on principle, will initially find it tacky but who, in the end, will fight to take the last one!
And when is it?
Every Sunday evening during the school holidays, around 7pm, just after the welcome drink.
So it’s from the snack bar, with an Hautes Alpes speciality in one hand and the sweet Cocktail de l’Iscle in the other, that parents will see their children off until around 8.30pm.
A few details to clarify
DEtail #1
At the teen campfire, there are ONLY teenagers… Parents are strictly forbidden… Children are becoming teenagers younger and younger, so for the campfire, they are considered to be teenagers, in this case pre-teens, from the age of 11 until 17.
DEtail #2
This activity is supervised by at least 2 adults, including the activity leader, and is of course completely safe. The fire is kept alight in a brazier, and the entertainment team leaves equipped with a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit.

Detail #3
Everyone’s first eco-responsible gesture is to leave a natural area exactly as you found it… So when the teenagers leave the banks of the Durance, they make sure everything is in order!
DEtail #4
Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite, but there’s no signal on the banks of the Durance… But don’t worry, in an emergency there’s mobile data! And 5G to boot!
And for children up to the age of 10?

Children up to the age of 10 may be disappointed not to be able to roast marshmallows. But rest assured, there are plenty of activities for children.
In particular, there’s the mini club, between the play area and the henhouse. And it’s open every day!
One day they’re making a rocket, the next they’re playing mini golf, the next a treasure hunt, and when it’s really hot, it’s time for a water fight!
