At the Pays des Ecrins family campsite, fresh bread and pastries come to you in the morning! And if you’re travelling light, we can offer you a full breakfast… Please note, the bakery is only open in July and August and you need to book the day before…
Fresh bread from 7.30 am…
Camping with bakery is obviously a big word, but the essential is there, in summer (July and August), if you want fresh bread and pastries for breakfast, it’s at the campsite reception that it happens …
You order the day before and collect it starting 7.30 the next morning… Children are often proud to fetch the bread themselves…
A real artisan baker…
The artisan baker from Prelles, Ecrins de douceur, delivers our bread every morning.
We’re not actually a campsite with a bakery, but the bread you’ll be eating for breakfast or as a sandwich during your hike comes from a genuine artisan bakery. The flour, for example, comes from the Hautes Alpes…
A full breakfast…
In the morning, if you want a hot drink, coffee, tea or chocolate, that’s also at reception. The snack bar doesn’t open until 3.30pm.
And if you want a full breakfast, all you have to do is to order… It includes half a baguette, a pastry, a hot drink, fruit juice, butter, jam, and everything you need for a good day in the mountains…

Better consumption is one of our eco-responsible commitments in terms of sustainable tourism… Sorting waste properly is also one of our commitments. The rubbish bin is therefore equipped with bins of all colours for selective sorting, as well as compost bins.
The 3-star Iscle de Prelles campsite also offers a whole range of services, including Wi-Fi, a communal barbecue area and electric vehicle recharging points. You’ll also find a laundry in the main sanitary block. There are 2 washing machines and 1 tumble dryer, and tokens are available from the campsite reception.
As for the cocktail of activities on offer at the campsite, it’s difficult to draw up an exhaustive list. But you won’t want to miss the heated swimming pool, mini-golf and playground. Nor can you miss the 2 petanque courts… You can get a fuller picture of the activities on offer at the campsite by consulting the services and activities calendar. The campsite is open almost all year round, but not everything is open all the time… Entertainment for children, for example, is only available during the school holidays.
