To find out all about the 3-star Iscle de Prelles campsite and our activity partners, and to get to know each other while enjoying a regional speciality accompanied by the Cocktail de l’Iscle®, join us every Sunday in July and August at 6pm in the snack bar.
At a family campsite, you deserve a family welcome… Of course, we’re here to help you at any time, but on Sunday late afternoon during the high season, we meet under the snack tent for a welcome drink.
The aim is threefold:
- get to know the campsite
- get to know our region and our partners
- to get to know your neighbours
For once, I’m going to start at the end to get straight to the best part, the part where we toast your holiday…

The main aim of the welcome drink is to create a friendly atmosphere in which to rub shoulders and meet new people.
Of course, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to meet other holidaymakers throughout your stay. But what better way to get to know them than over an aperitif offered by the campsite?!
What’s on the menu?
I’m obviously not going to reveal the contents of the aperitif here. But I will give you 2 clues:
- To eat: a local speciality from the Hautes Alpes, more specifically from the Champsaur valley. A real savoury treat for the taste buds…
- To drink: the Cocktail de l’Iscle®, an exclusive cocktail created by a professional mixologist! It’s famous, but drink in moderation… And for the kids, there’s no need to worry, we’ll be serving syrups…
Getting to know the campsite
Activities and services
We’re talking in general terms about the campsite’s services, such as the communal barbecues, the launderette, the bakery with fresh bread every morning, the charging points for electric vehicles and the selective sorting of waste.
I mention the cocktail of activities and the schedule of festivities. The swimming pool and the aquagym session, pétanque and the traditional weekly tournament, special evenings and the snack menu, mini golf, trampoline, table football and generally activities for children, such as the mini club and the teenagers’ campfire.
Our values
I’m talking about our values and the only 2 rules that apply on the campsite: freedom and respect.
If you understand them properly, these 2 rules are superior to all others and guarantee a happy and friendly atmosphere.
I mention our commitment to eco-responsibility. And I repeat several times that you should never hesitate to walk through the reception door.
Safety
I sometimes insist heavily on safety!
And here I’m taking advantage of it: the basic rule of safety is a maximum of 10 km/h in the aisles of the campsite.
If there’s one thing I’m adamant about, it’s speeding through the campsite. That’s why I reserve the right, and in fact the duty, to exclude your vehicle from the campsite if you drive too fast…

Our regions
Finally, I’d like to talk about our region, Briançon, the Pays des Ecrins, the Serre Chevalier and Clarée valleys.
We’ll certainly be talking about gastronomy and few cultural visits…
And we’ll certainly talk about the region’s major activity: hiking… There’s something for every taste, every age and every level… But here again, safety comes first. And I can’t stress enough that the mountains are a magical and majestic environment, but one that can quickly turn out to be dangerous or even hostile.
Our partners
Rafting, canyoning, paragliding, via ferrata, mountain biking… Our valleys are full of all kinds of mountain activities…
To make things easier for you, we’ve set up partnerships with activity providers in Briançon and the Pays des Ecrins. To make things as pleasant as possible for you, our partners come and meet you at the welcome drink. They take the microphone to introduce themselves, and then you go and see them to find out more and plan the activity…
The good news is that our partners commit to giving you a minimum 10% discount… And of course, they’re professional and educational…
It’s natural, but it goes without saying: there’s no money between us and our partners. So we have nothing to gain… except… your satisfaction…
