Some people would swap hot water in the shower for high-performance wifi! At the 3-star Iscle de Prelles campsite, we guarantee you both!
If you have a package with unlimited or almost unlimited mobile data in France, you won’t necessarily need wifi, as the campsite is pretty well covered by 4G and 5G networks.

If not, you’ll be delighted to know that wifi covers the whole campsite. From the gate at the entrance to the very end of our family campsite in Briançon. On every pitches. In all the rental accommodations. And in all the services and activities, such as the petanque area, communal barbecue area, swimming pool, snack bar, children’s activities, mini-golf, etc…
Wifi 7…
The campsite has been connected to the fibre optic network since 2024. You’ll be delighted to know that it’s not just any wifi, but wifi 7! And as I write this page, on 12 February 2025, it’s the ultimate in wifi! It’s the latest technology in wireless internet connection… While we wait for the next technology! Indeed, if you read this page as it stands in 2032, wifi 7 is likely to seem slight compared with the technological revolution of the moment, wifi 36!
Free or paid WiFi?

Wifi is free in low season.
Not free
Wifi is not free in high season, from 15 June to 15 September. All other activities and services, such as mini-golf, swimming pool, games library and table football, are free all year round. Only the wifi becomes chargeable in high season. 1€ per day for 2 screens.
The 4G and 5G mobile networks are pretty good…
Why do you pay for it in high season ?
Even the latest wifi becomes disappointing when it’s shared too widely. So the main objective is to maintain an impeccable level of service. And in high season, when there are a lot of people in the campsite, the connection can become frustrating.
During the busy season, we therefore decide to charge €1 per day for wifi, in order to limit the number of users and guarantee a satisfactory connection.
Furthermore, offering wifi throughout the campsite and covering all 4 hectares of the park represents a real cost that is far from negligible for a family campsite like Iscle de Prelles.
And what about the hot water in the showers?
The most basic requirement for a campsite is undoubtedly to offer hot water with a correct temperature in clean sanitary facilities… Whether it’s a campsite in the mountains, by the sea or in the countryside, a campsite in the Hautes Alpes, in the Landes or in the Dordogne, a campsite in Briançon in the Serre Chevalier valley, a campsite in Vallouise in the Pays des Ecrins, a campsite in Névache in the Clarée valley, the least you can do is offer welcoming sanitary facilities…
So don’t worry, at the Iscle de Prelles campsite the shower water is hot. Not lukewarm, not scalding, just hot, just the way we like it! At least the way most of us like it! Of course, temperature problems can happen, and in that case I can assure you of our full commitment to resolving the problem as quickly as possible.
And by the way, access to clean sanitary facilities and hot water is free! And all year round! Tokens for the washing machines and tumble dryers are available from the campsite reception.
You can also pick up fresh bread and pastries at reception. The same goes for balls of all kinds, petanque balls and table tennis rackets. When it comes to recharging your electric vehicle, however, you’ll be on your own. You’ll find 2 recharging points in the visitors’ car park, right next to the selective sorting and composting area.
