Clean toilets and hot water, that’s obvious… but it’s better to say it! Sanitary facilities are a must for all campers, and at Iscle de Prelles, we’re not kidding about camper satisfaction!
Our family campsite in the Serre Chevalier valley has 4 sanitary blocks, accessible free of charge and all-you-can-wash during your stay at our campsite in the Hautes Alpes, between Briançon and the Pays des Ecrins.
The main sanitary block
The main sanitary block is open all year round. It is the most recent, and some would say the most comfortable. What is certain is that, as the main sanitary block, it is home to a number of services. In particular the laundry, with 2 washing machines and 1 tumble dryer.
It also has a cabin for people with reduced mobility (PRM) and a baby area. The key can be collected from reception.
For campervanners and caravanners, there is a dedicated cabin for emptying your chemical toilet. In winter, because of the frost, you can also fill up with water through the window of these toilets. And in summer, there’s an area at the entrance to the campsite where you can top up your water supply.
Staying in winter? For your comfort, these toilets are heated. As well as the launderette, there are drying racks for your clothes or ski boots…
3 toilet blocks for the high season
The 3 other toilet blocks are being opened as the season progresses and the campsite fills up. They’re not brand new, but they’re still functional. And of course we pay close attention to their cleanliness and the comfort of the hot water in the showers, washbasins and sinks.
